Tonight at 8 PM eastern time, and then throughout the week:
On the 141st edition of RootsWorld Radio, I’ll be featuring new music from the long-dormant Calabrian band Re Niliu, who back in the 1980s was one of the leaders of the ‘new routes music’ movement in Italy. We’ll also feature new music by banjoist and composer Paul Elwood and his Invisible Ensemble. Other artists on this week’s show include Last Forever (US), Lhasa de Sela (Canada), Imaginary Homeland (US), Mahsa Vahdat (Iran), Luigi Cinque & The Tarantula Hypertext Orchestra (Italy), and two works from Hector Zazou’s “Songs from the Cold Seas.” More info on the web site: www.RootsWorld.org
